To Joe, Better Days is about strength, resilience, passion, purpose, and positivity in the face of adversity. Inspired by how Dom has turned his challenges into successes, Joe has been motivated to push forward in his own career, committed to becoming the best version of himself and honing in on his craft of songwriting.
At a young age, Joe had a passion for music. Picking up his first guitar at just 7 years old, he began teaching himself how to play and started taking lessons. He then began playing the piano at 12 years old. In 2022, Joe began writing his own music, something he described as a difficult new endeavor, but also the most rewarding experiences of his life. For Joe, music is an extension of his life, his struggles, victories, and everything in between. Every song he writes contains a piece of himself and his experiences.
Joe's incredible passion for music has given him a unique perspective on life and others. He shares that music has helped him look at the world differently, and he's grateful for the opportunity to write about his experiences through lyrics that inspire others. His songs connect with people in different ways, allowing listeners to interpret the lyrics in a way that is personally meaningful to them.
Various factors inspire Joe's songwriting. He often finds joy in writing about powerful messages and events, noting that "the best songs I have written have come to me in the most unexpected way." His latest project, a song titled "Welcome Home" truly embodies the Better Days mentality.
The idea behind this song was sparked by a video on TikTok about a soldier coming home from deployment. As Joe was looking through the comments, he was immediately inspired by one comment that said ‘Welcome Home, hero!’ he began writing what would become a song exploring the different meanings of the phrase "welcome home".
Joe shares his passion further by sharing that music will always be a part of his life through the good, the bad and the “Better Days” He is committed to making each day better, sharing that “each day may not go the way we plan, but my guitar and piano will welcome me home every day when I walk through the door” Joe's latest project is his new single titled "Backroad Ridin'" and is available now on all platforms!
With dreams of writing songs on Music Row in Nashville, Joe continues to dedicate himself to improving his craft. His passion grows stronger as he pursues his goals, describing music as something that never lets him down and is always there when he needs it most.
Joe leaves us with some powerful advice: "Just go for it! Whatever your dream is, go all in. There is no better time. There will always be people who criticize you, but those critics are the fuel; welcome them. You'll have more critics than supporters, but your passion and drive will carry you farther than anything else. Put your blinders on and chase whatever it is that sets your soul on fire!
